Tour 2 (Special Voyage to FAILAKA Island)

The special arrangements were made by MISK management to explore a special trip to Failaka Island, an ancient Greek and Persian cultured geographical land situated at the Persian Gulf 20 kilometres apart from the tip of Ras Al-Salmiya port in Kuwait.  The trip has been postponed from the early schedule which was planned earlier on Friday 1st November by booking a separate KPTC Ferry for 120 passengers of MISK Group, but due to Friday and Jumma arrangements, the trip had been postponed to Muharram holiday on Tuesday 5th November 2013 where we confirmed 40 passengers but around 80 passengers joined later to the MISK Voyage to Failaka.  The Ship started at 10:00 A.M. in the name of Allah.  MISK Vice President Moulavi M.T.M. Ajwad presented at the port for giving a warm send-off as well wishes for the safe journey.

The Special MISK Accreditation/ID cards with the entry pass given to all the passengers granted from NCCAL for exploring the archaeological excavation sites of specific works carrying out by the different countries such as Poland, Denmark, Slovakia and France.  The special information bulletin about Failaka and its ancient and present history (Tamil & Illustrations) were distributed to all the passengers to have enough knowledge about the historical island.
The voyage is an exceptional travel on the water where the Quran is mentioning the ship sailing as well its distress happening sometimes unexpectedly.

"We have honoured the sons of Adam, provided them with transport on land and sea..." ((Qur'an-Al 'Isrâ 17:70))
"And His are the ships sailing smoothly through the seas, lofty as mountains."                ((Qur'an-Rahman 55:24))
"When distress seizes you at sea, those that ye call upon, besides Himself, leave you in lurch! But when He brings you back safe to land, ye turn away (from Him). Most ungrateful man!" ((Qur'an-Al 'Isrâ 17:67))

Many messengers of Allah had many voyages on oceans, Prophet Moosa (PBUH), Prophet Yoonus (PBUH) and many, A peculiar historical incident mentioning in the quran about a voyage of Khidr (PBUH) and his travel companion Prophet Moosa (PBUH) as well the Special instruction given to Prophet Nooh (PBUH) for building a ship and he navigated that Ark during the great flood.

A pious and pleasant voyage to Failaka took 90 minutes on the Persian Gulf waters to reach Failaka port at 11:30 A.M. all MISK passengers and two MISK buses were unloaded on the shore. All members performed their first task of Luhar prayer near by Masjid in Island then they rushed to the Boat house of Failaka Lake to have their lunch and relax on the Lake garden and boating on the lake as well they visited to the Zoo and nearby Museum. The first group went to some internal parts of the Island, due to the time constraint and unfamiliar locations that the groups could not achieve all the activities of archaeological explorations, despite some of them visited to the Al-Khidr Sites (The quran is mentioning about his incident with prophet moosa (Pbuh) in the Surat –Kaaf).
